Mark Davis brings design sophistication and analytical prowess to complex challenges.
With over fifteen years of architectural experience, Mark brings an expertise in project leadership, innovative problem-solving, and energy efficient building design to each of his projects. Currently, he is Principal In Charge for the new US Consulate in Curaçao for the US Department of State. Recently, Mark served as the Principal in Charge for Henley Hall, a new high-performing and energy efficient laboratory building at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as the Tidelands, a 590-unit affordable housing complex for medical residents and trainees at the University of California, San Francisco. He has also served as the Associate in Charge for the recently completed Engineering Research Center at Brown University, a cutting edge laboratory facility that was designed and built using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process.
Prior to his work at Brown, Mark contributed to the building envelope design at both Rice University's Brockman Hall for Physics and the US Embassy in London. He also worked on the Belles Street Townhomes in San Francisco, a multi-family development in San Francisco's historic Presidio Heights neighborhood, and was a member the design team for the Multifaith Center and Houghton Memorial Chapel at Wellesley College. Having led two IPD projects, Mark now lectures on how colleges and universities can effectively use this delivery method on their campus projects, as well as on high-performance laboratory design.
