Happy 2025 from KieranTimberlake
2024 was a busy and celebratory year for KieranTimberlake.
We recognized our 40th anniversary with a series of public programming hosted at Ortlieb's Bottling House, our COTE Top Ten Award-winning office space and fabrication studio in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia.
In March, we invited Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM) conference attendees to a dual exhibition celebrating our arts and institutional work titled Architect as, in tandem with The Roundness of Memory, a group show featuring work that explored themes of memory and placemaking.
In July, we welcomed Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) national conference attendees to explore our comprehensive higher education portfolio through the lens of our newly completed 2024 Sustainability Action Plan. Our exhibition More or Less, a playful nod to well-known ideas like less is more, less is a bore, yes is more, and others, encouraged action at all scales with the goal of designing a more equitable and resilient future.
In November, we hosted a book launch for Building Ghosts: Past Lives and Lost Places in a Changing City (Temple University Press). A panel moderated by Ashley Hahn (University of Pennsylvania) featured conversation about demolition and displacement in Philadelphia with co-authors Molly Lester and Michael Bixler.
In addition to the architecture, research, and planning work that fuels our vision and our future, our hearts and minds are full of the connections, exchanges, and ideas fostered over this past year.
Thank you.
