Zinat synthesizes complex environmental, technical, and aesthetic goals into cohesive and elegant spaces.
Zinat joined KieranTimberlake in 2002 after working for several years in international development and has worked on many of the firm's award-winning projects, including the River House Renewal at Harvard University and the Sculpture Building and School of Art Gallery at Yale University.
Zinat currently works on the John A. Paulson Center, a large, multi-purpose academic and residential building that will centralize a variety of New York University's activities, where she leads design for classrooms, student common areas, and dining. Previously, Zinat oversaw sustainability strategies and coordinated LEED and BREEAM certifications at the new US Embassy in London.
Outside of project work, Zinat is a dedicated mentor within the firm, sharing her knowledge and experience widely. Zinat received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion at Oberlin College and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
