As Technical Director at KieranTimberlake, Steven Johns is responsible for leading the firm's quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring that concepts are executed with precision, efficiency, and beauty. His deep expertise bridges the gap between architectural vision and real-world implementation, providing the technical guidance necessary to tackle complex, large-scale projects. Through his 28-year tenure at KieranTimberlake, he has become a cornerstone of the firm's technical team, elevating and helping to shape the firm's work. 
 
Steven has been integral to the success of many high-profile projects, including Cellophane House one of the firm's most iconic and experimental prefabricated projects, designed for the MoMa exhibition Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling. He was part of the team that designed and built, a state-of-the-art facility for research and teaching at Rice University Brockman Hall for Physics. Most notably, he provided critical oversight of the technical aspects of the U.S. Embassy in London design, a rigorous and ambitious project for the US Department of State.
