KieranTimberlake Exhibition Featured on WHYY

Last month, Philadelphia's PBS member station WHYY visited KieranTimberlake to discuss our Bottling House Gallery's latest exhibition, Building Ghosts.

The Building Ghosts exhibition was on view in KieranTimberlake's Bottling House Gallery from November 13, 2024 through April 4, 2025.

Curated as a companion to the recently published book of the same name by Molly Lester and Michael Bixler, the exhibition interprets photography and essays from the publication with an installation incorporating 400 pounds of reclaimed material from Revolution Recovery, a construction and demolition waste recycling company in northeast Philadelphia. Access to the site was graciously made possible by RAIR, the artist in residence program whose mission is to challenge the perception of waste culture by providing a unique platform for artists at the intersection of art and industry.

Video produced by Monica Rogozinski as part of the series You Oughta Know on WHYY TV.

Business Strategy and Communications Director Huwayda Fakhry spoke with WHYY about how Building Ghosts complements KieranTimberlake's commitment to the conservation, renovation, and transformation of existing buildings whenever possible. The book and exhibition fostered valuable reflection on these themes across our hometown of Philadelphia.

The exhibition was interpreted and designed by visual artist and in-house graphic designer Sarah Kaizar.
