Michael Bianchi's rigorous approach to complex design issues leads to creative spaces inspired by clients' missions.
Michael believes building designs should be logical, data-driven, and timeless. Over more than 10 years as a practicing architect, Michael has brought this ethos to over 30 projects, including the US Embassy in London. Currently he oversees the University of Washington's North Campus Housing Redevelopment, a project that adds 2,950 new beds, a 650-seat dining hall, and a variety of student amenities to the university's Seattle campus.
With a strong design sensibility and a drive to instill craft in architecture and the design process, Michael excels at residential design, architectural and construction detailing, and managing data within large-scale projects. Prior to KieranTimberlake, he worked at Steven Harris Architects in New York City and at Halper Owens Architects in Greenwich, Connecticut.
He has been a guest critic at Temple University, and his work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, and Interior Design.
