KieranTimberlake Presents Generally Electric

Lubbux light by Benjamin Gillepsie/OVUUD

In celebration of DesignPhiladelphia, KieranTimberlake is pleased to present Generally Electric, a group exhibition featuring an eclectic and electric collection of work by Philadelphia-based artists, designers, and makers.

We welcome you to join us for the exhibition opening on October 11 at 4:30pm.

On view is a selection of distinctive furniture and home accessories by Carl Durkow, AI-driven fiber work by Tim Eads of Tuft the World, and bespoke, Scandinavian-inspired lighting by Benjamin Gillespie of OVUUD.

Founded in 1984, KieranTimberlake is a full-service architecture firm located in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. Our projects include the programming, planning, and design of new structures, as well as the conservation, renovation, and transformation of existing buildings, with special expertise in education, government, arts and culture, civic, and residential projects.

The Bottling House program in the lobby of KieranTimberlake's working studio is meant to foster engagement with the community of artists, designers, and future-thinkers that align with our mission to create meaningful, innovative, environmentally ethical architecture.

We aim to create a forum that allows for a structured but inclusive dialogue that promotes knowledge-sharing of methodologies, technologies, ideologies, and psychologies to foster opportunities for collaboration and emphasize existing affinities. We invite participants to engage with broader ideas that range from supply chain equity and environmental justice to embodied history and preservation of memory and materials.

The goal is not to propose solutions but create space for conversation.
