David Riz received a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. David has been with the firm since 1999, became an Associate in 2005, Senior Associate in 2007, and was recently made Principal of the firm. He has over 21 years experience, is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Prior to joining KieranTimberlake, David practiced in Japan with Atelier Ryu Team Zoo, and taught architectural design in Taiwan. He is also a contributing editor for Interior Magazine in Taiwan.
David has served as Project Architect on Duke University's Keohane Quadrangle, was Project Manager on Durham Academy's Middle and Lower Schools, and Associate-in-Charge for the Noyes Community Recreation Center at Cornell University, Loblolly House on Taylor's Island on the Chesapeake Bay, 1315 Hill Street Apartments and the recently completed Cellophane House for The Museum of Modern Art's exhibition, Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling.
He is currently Associate-in-Charge on Cornell University's West Campus Residential Initiative final phase four, and the Northwest Campus Student Housing residential and dining complex at the University of California at Los Angeles in collaboration with Pfeiffer Partners.
