Presented in partnership with the Architectural Archives of the University of Pennsylvania, Drawn + Quartered is a two-part exhibit that showcased KieranTimberlake's expansive practice of drawing, dissecting, testing, questioning, and building.
The first part of the exhibit, Drawn, presented a selection of works on paper extracted from formative projects that represent a pre-digital approach to planning and design. The exhibit's second half, Quartered, offered a selection of full-scale prototypes, mockups, tests, and trials laid bare in the studio where they were created.
While our in-studio exhibit is no longer on view, we invite you to explore some of our prototypes on our website. By clicking on the numbered tiles below, you can experience our prototyping process firsthand as you see pictures of each mockup in development and listen to the architects explain their rationale.
