Michael Bianchi is committed to the rigorous analysis of complex design issues in order to arrive at a solution born out of the very nature of a place and its unique mission.

His work is rooted in a belief that the design of buildings should be logical, data-driven, and timeless. Over the course of twelve years as a practicing architect, Michael has worked as a Project Architect on more than thirty projects. He recently served as Project Architect for both the master plan and the design of the North Campus Housing redevelopment at the University of Washington, which adds 2,950 new beds, a 650-seat dining hall, and a variety of student amenities. Michael previously contributed to the public assembly spaces at the new US Embassy in London.

With a strong design sensibility and a drive to instill craft in architecture and the design process, Michael excels at residential design, architectural and construction detailing, and managing data within large-scale projects. Prior to coming to KieranTimberlake, he worked at Steven Harris Architects in New York City and at Halper Owens Architects in Greenwich, Connecticut.

He has been a guest critic at Temple University, and his work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, and Interior Design magazine.
