Richard Hodge brings a deep understanding of the means and methods of construction to the design process.
He applies this experience in his role as technical reviewer for all projects, assuring technical excellence, clarity and consistency of documentation, and coordination of consultants' work.
Richard recently contributed quality management oversight for the new US Embassy in London. He has led construction administration for numerous projects and has worked with prominent clients including Duke University, University of California, San Diego, and Sidwell Friends School. He was responsible for several projects at Yale University, including the comprehensive renovation of Davenport College and the renovation of Sage Bowers Hall for the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. His exposure to building renovation work—which includes survey, documentation, planning, design, demolition, and rehabilitation—has given him a broad knowledge of how buildings change over time.
In addition to architectural work, Richard manages information systems at KieranTimberlake—researching, testing, and bringing digital tools into practice. He embraces the change from paper drawings to wholly digital means of tectonic development and expression.
